Summary
Painter Nicole Eisenman shows slides to illustrate the development in style and content of her wall drawings, murals, and oil paintings from 1992 through May 2006. Eisenman addresses the issues of psychology, allegory, and puns in her work, as well as moments of censorship and controversy incited by the content of certain pieces. After the lecture she fields questions about the seeming arbitrary nature of fame and obscurity in the art world, and compares feminist art of the Nineties to that of the present day
